 Each musical instrument is a unique system and this means that the right choice strings and their ideal layout, the primary basis for achieving best performance and good playability, is fundamental.
We shall be happy to help you choose your ideal strings.
 
At the same time we remind the absolute importance of fine tuning of the system stringholder-bridge-soundpost on bowed instruments when you choose your strings.
 


            Discounts to private customers
 
           On single orders from 155 up to 260 Euros: 10 %
           From 261 up to 520: 20 %
           From 521 up: 25 %

 
 
            Discounts to string dealers and instrument makers
 These discounts are made on orders made us in continuative way. The request for a discount must be made at the time of ordering. We shall not alter the invoice amount after the goods have been dispathced. By each new order please quote the discount agreed upon.
 
            Guarantee
 We guarantee immediate free of charge replacement or reimbursement on any faulty strings that may have eluded our strict quality control, within 30 days after delivery and upon return of the faulty goods. Please specify whether you require replacement or reimbursement.
We cannot guarantee any replacement of any strings, standard or custom made, you may not like the sound of, unless they are faulty.
 
            Estimates
As a rule we do not make estimates (exceptions can be made for Conservatories or other Institutes). You can easily check all prices on-line and help us work more quickly and without time waste. If you absolutely need an estimate after all, the charge for the extra paper work is 5 euros.


            Custom made of string sets
The calculation of string sets non included in our standard range of products can cause an extra charge, depending on required modifications and higher production costs.
 
            Estimates of freight charges 
  It is not possible to calculate freight charges in advance, since they depend
on several factors like:
- type of freight (priority, insured, carrier)
- parcel weight (can only be determined after packing)
- addressee’s geographical position
 
            Delivery
 Priority mail: fairly quick and above all cheap. Parcels cannot be traced back, though. We only use it for orders up to 70 euros. No charge on the customer should deliver fail or the parcel get lost (provided the addressee has given us a correct address and was not absent at the time of delivery).
 
Registered mail: slower and only apparently more sure.
Notice: parcel code numbers are only valid within Italian territory.
Failed delivery: the customer will take charge of expenses originating from being absent, leaving goods unclaimed or providing a wrong address.
No charges to the customers for lost goods (as long as the correct address was provided in the first place).
 
Carrier: quick, sure and reliable. It is a bit more expensive than registered mail, but delivery is sure and quick (1-2 days).  We use it as a rule for all orders from 70 euros up.
            Failed delivery: the customer will take charge of expenses originating from
being absent, leaving goods unclaimed or providing a wrong address.
           
Breaking down the bulk of a substantial order into smaller parcels implies an extra charge of 2.50 euros for each extra invoice to be attached to each parcel.
 
Notice: we are not responsible for inefficient mail service or failed delivery due to addressee’s absence or providing a wrong address.

Please bear in mind that delays are often caused by Customs practices in the customer’s country.
 

            VAT
  VAT is not  part of our income, we only collect it for our revenue system: please always pay the ivoice amount  including VAT.
Withing the EU the Italian VAT is always 20%. Customers possessing a VAT registration number should please provide it at the time of placing an order. We shall not alter the amount of invoices already issued if the VAT number is provided after the goods have already been dispatched.
 
            Import tax
In some countries like Switzerland, China, Japan and Australia among others, payments through banks are subject to a fixed extra charge (usually 13.50 euros): please do make sure you take care of that.
Such extra charge is not due if you pay with credit card or Paypal.
 

            Specimen with no commercial value
 Our customers are kindly requested not to ask to mark our parcels as Specimen with no commercial value unless that is really the case.
         

  Working out custom made strings at our premises
            We receive our customers only by appointment, please give us a call first. 
 

          Payment
  Payment is due withing 15 days from delivery. Repeated unjustified delays may cause the suspension of further supplies, beside the payment of overdue amounts.
 Cheques: we do not accept any kind of  cheques.
  Credit card: please let us have you card numbers per fax, phone, or spread over more than one e-mail. Please always check the expiry date.
 

            Ordering
 Please let us have your complete address, phone number and fiscal data with every new order. This will help us sort things out more quickly.
 
   

        Length of strings
 The standard lengths of our gut strings are 120 or 180 cm. We do not produce any others.
